Yassmin and Karim // Wedding Story // Cleveland, OH

The Lucky Lemon team was so excited to travel to Cleveland, OH for Yassmin and Karim’s elegant Cleveland Museum of Art wedding! It was so refreshing to visit this city that is undergoing a revitalization and to experience a community that shows such a commitment to its growth. There is something about visiting the midwest that just makes us happy. CLEVELAND ROCKS!

Originally from Ohio, but now residing in NYC, Yassmin and Karim traveled home to celebrate the their new life as husband and wife. The wedding day was magical, almost as if we had a checklist for the perfect wedding film – gorgeous summer weather, an elegant and historically rich venue, a large welcoming group of family and friends, and the most beautiful bride and her one true love. Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Cille and Michael // Wedding Story // Gasparilla Inn, Boca Grande

There is something so romantic about Boca Grande’s banyan trees and old Florida feel. The Gasparilla Inn and Club certainly adds even more charm to an already magical location – and this intimate destination was where Cille and Michael said “I Do.”

So many dear friends and family traveled to this destination wedding from the great state of Alabama to celebrate with the sweet couple. The floral, designed by the talented Botanica International Design Studio, was like a fairytale including the most beautiful cake table adorned with 1600 roses! We can’t forget to mention the wildly fun Robert Williams Band who had the guests dancing and singing until the moment the bride and groom rode away in their honeymoon getaway golf cart! The Lucky Lemon Team had an amazing time creating this special wedding film and definitely felt welcomed by all the true southern charm of the day!

From the immensely fun Ketubah signing to dancing the night away to the incredible sounds of The Headliners, Whitney and Terry celebrated every moment of the day! First of all, the Lucky Lemon Team loves the beautiful Sandpearl Resort on Clearwater Beach. It is definitely an elegant location for a couple to start their married lives together. Secondly, it is so exciting for us to be surrounded by family and friends of the newlyweds who are so festive and cheerful – and to have the honor of capturing those precious memories in their wedding film. Kirsten and John

Derring Estate at Cutler was the perfect location for their destination (non-destination -we’ll explain in a moment) wedding. This grand location was also absolutely delicious to shoot not only HD but 16mm film, which we did! Kirsten wanted a wedding that wasn’t quite traditional. While living in Ohio, the couple chose the gorgeous location for an exciting destination wedding for all the family and friends to attend. Randomly enough, months before the wedding, John’s career moved him to none other than Ft. Myers, making their destination wedding a little closer to home! How random, right? Family and friends were certainly in for a treat with the weather being nothing less than incredible! You can say the wedding day is in all the little details and Kirsten and John did a fabulous job with making each detail full of meaning – from Columbus, Ohio’s famous Jenni’s Ice Cream being served to guests, to the symbolic flowers (White Veronica in remembrance of my maternal grandmother, Veronica, Rosemary in remembrance of John’s mother, and Fern honoring my paternal grandmother, Irene Ferne) everything was very sentimental and special. We were touched by the newlyweds in their love for each other as well as for family and friends.
