The Lucky Lemon wedding cinematography team was so thrilled when Patrick contacted us about his wedding at the Powel Crosley Estate in Sarasota. His bride-to-be was a fan and secretly wanted the Lemons to capture her big day on video. So as a surprise, sweet Patrick coordinated for Lucky Lemon to be a part of the wonderful day as a gift to Jess. And…what an honor this was for us! We couldn’t help but fall in love with all the personal details of the day, from the Superman socks that the groomsmen wore, to the (LOVE, LOVE, LOVE) bridesmaid’s dresses! OMG so cute!

This particular wedding weekend Hurricane Sandy was gathering strength on of the East Coast of Florida and moving north. It just so happens Jess and Patrick live in the Big Apple and traveled here for their dream destination wedding. Thankfully, the weather was beautiful, albeit a bit windy. With so many friends and family who also traveled from New York, Sandy didn’t go unnoticed and became a part of the wedding day.

For anyone planning a wedding, surprises (such as… ahem… a hurricane) might sound too much to bear, but you’ll agree after watching this story, that Jess and Patrick’s wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect, the newlyweds more in love, and friends and family more cherished!
